Ban on Colombo, Gampaha districts lifted
Public transport services in all districts including Colombo and Gampaha will resume from today under strict health guidelines, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said yesterday.
Earlier, the Ministry of Passenger Transport Management said that public transport services would resume from today after reviewing the public behaviour and in line with health authorities’ instructions on Covid-19. “However, the authorities arrived at this decision following a discussion held between transport ministry officials and the health authorities last evening.
