Forty six suspects who were arrested over recent violent incidents in Minuwangoda and Nattandiya were released on bail yesterday.
Accordingly, 15 suspects were released on bail by the Minuwangoda Magistrate’s Court, while 31 suspects who were arrested for causing unrest at Koswatta in Nattandiya were released on bail by the Marawila District Court.
Minuwangoda Magistrate Kesara Samaradivakara ordered to release the 15 suspects on a surety bail of Rs. 200,000 each.
