A 24-hour water cut will come into force in several areas in the Colombo suburbs from 9.00 a.m. today till 9.00 a.m. tomorrow because of a power cut by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced yesterday.
The following areas would be affected by the water cut - Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kolonnawa Urban Council areas, Kotikawaththa, Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Saba areas and Rathmalana and Soysapura Housing Scheme.
