The staff of People’s Bank commenced operations in the new year, 2018, giving the service oath.
In commemorating this occasion, a special celebration was held on January 2 under the patronage of Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar at the head office of People’s Bank.
At this event, the entire staff gave the government service oath under the patronage of Kumar, followed by a ‘pirith’ ceremony and all religious programme.
The event was graced by the corporate and executive managements of People’s Bank and staff members.
Simultaneously, special ceremonies were organised in all People’s Bank branches islandwide and the entire staff gave the service oath in their branches.
