Consider this a meritorious deed for Vesak - Power Minister urged to slash electricity prices
Venerable Muruththettuwe Ananda thero urged the Power Minister to reduce electricity prices in view of the Vesak festival.
“For the first time people are finding it difficult to celebrate the Vesak festival as they wish to,” the thero said, urging the Minister to slash electricity prices considering it as a meritorious deed in view of Vesak.
