Updated Ads Guide

• Facebook have recently updated the Ads guide to reflect the changes made as part of our Ads Simplification initiative.
• The major updates include the changes with Offer ads, mobile app install ads, and an update to the one-sheeter I’d previously sent. You can find the updated ads guide here and the updated one sheeter attached.

Ads Manager Report Updated

• Shareable links now available in Ads Manager Reports – Facebook have added a 'share' button that allows you to easily share the current report that you are viewing with anyone that has admin permission to view reports within that ad account.
• Destination' is now a field that you are able to filter by, allowing you to filter performance by the various destinations in the ad account.
• Changing the Attribution window is easier – They’ve made it easier to both see and change the attribution window that is applied to the metrics in reports.

Coming Soon: New Features for Custom Audiences

• Facebook are excited to announce that soon marketers will be able to reach people who have visited their website or mobile app. This will be available on mobile and desktop and is planned to roll out globally over the next few months.
• This new feature will compliment FBX and will serve different needs for marketers, while making advertising on Facebook simpler to accomplish your goals.

Platform Updates: Monetization Updates and PMD Innovation Competition

• Now that all canvas developers are utilizing the new payment system, Facebook wanted to highlight a few important monetization best practices. Details on encouraging first time purchases via the payer promotions API and streamlining gift card redemption can be found in this week's Developer's Blog post.
• They are also pleased to announce the six winners of the PMD Innovation Competition. Winners demonstrated excellence in building technology that bridges marketer needs across Pages, Ads, Apps and Insights. The grand prize was awarded to Optimal, and details on the other winners can be found here.

Boosting Facebook Login Conversion Rates

• Facebook have also been working closely with the top mobile developers to implement the Facebook Login Checklist that was introduced in August.

Since then, they have discovered the most common ways to give uses a better Facebook experience via Facebook Login and to help achieve Login conversion rates above 70% in some cases. For more information, please visit the Developer's Blog post here.

• This week saw a lot of exciting content shared by celebrates, athletes and professionals.
• Bruno Mars unveiled his latest video on Facebook, while Maria Carey announced Facebook exclusive content as well. Johnny Knoxville dropped by Facebook HQ for a Q&A session with his fans, and Mike Tyson honored another heavy weight champion.
