Esoft-Sirasa donate computer lab to Ratnapura school

Esoft Metro Campus, which has launched the ‘E-Thilina’ community service-oriented initiative in partnership with Sirasa Television, donated a fully-fledged, computer laboratory with Internet and other modern facilities to the Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya, Ratnapura recently. 

Under this Esoft-Sirasa collaboration, a deserving school is provided with a fully-equipped computer laboratory every month on the basis that such a vital facility is unavailable despite the presence of students either clever at information technology (IT) or keen to pursue the subject as part of their educational curricular and for professional advancement in the long term.

The ceremonial opening of the modern computer laboratory at Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya, Ratnapura was held under the patronage of Esoft Metro Campus Chief Executive Officer Nishan Sembacuttiaratchy, Assistant Manager Branch Operations Harsha Ravindra, Sirasa TV Executive Programme Sanath Nandana, MBC MTV Sales Manager Daminda Nissanka, Esoft Metro Campus Deputy Centre Manager Uditha Priyanga, Esoft Metro College Rathnapura Manager Dr. Pumal Pathirana and Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya Ratnapura Principal P.P.P. Kalubowila.

Esoft-Sirasa ‘E-Thilina’ CSR project donated the first computer lab to Kumbukwewa Maha Vidyalaya, Ibbagamuwa- Kurunegala,  second to Sevamuktha Kandoru Navodya Maha Vidyalaya-Polonnaruwa, third to Dombagoda Maha Vidyalaya, Ahangama-Matara, fourth to Kottukachchiya Maha Vidyalaya-Puttalam, fifth to Uduhawara Vidyalaya, Uduhawara-Welimada, sixth to Ranasinhe Maha Vidyalaya-Minuwangoda, seventh to Rikillagaskada Vidyakara Maha Vidyalaya-Poramadulla, Rikillagaskada, eighth to Hadigalla Janapada Maha Vidyalaya-Baduraliya. Under this CSR project the computer lab donated to Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya, Ratnapura is the ninth.
