Strathspey Estate owned by Richard Pieris Group of companies, conducted a health camp on 12th October at its Cultural Hall as another CSR project.
This is the 5th consecutive health camp conducted by Strathspey Estate, organized by the management, health staff and Maskeliya Plantations PLC.
The population of the estate, as well as the population of the surrounding estates and villages participated and were benefited on this health camp, as they were treated for their health ailments and screened for communicable diseases such as diabetes, cancer, hypertension, cholesterol etc.
Special doctors, nutritionist, of the Regional Director of Health Office, Nuwara Eliya Food & Drugs Inspector, Senior Public Health Inspector and Public Health Inspector and Public Health Midwife (PHM) from the Medical Office of Health, Nuwara Eliya and Maskeliya, participated at this memorable health camp.
