The National Human Resource Development Council (NHRDC) of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Tourism Minister’s office and Lion’s Club of Wattala distributed over 350 school bags, books and other items to needy children in the
Gampaha District.
Tourism, Lands and Christian Affairs Minister John Amaratunga, NHRDC Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody, Education Director Catholic Schools Rev. Fr. Ivan Perera and Cricket Board Secretary Mohan de Silva participated in the ceremony held at the Tourist Board auditorium.
