For the 10th consecutive year a ‘Hacking Challenge’ and an ‘Information Security Quiz’ was conducted by Sri Lanka CERT|CC as part of the Cyber Security Week 2017 activities.
The event was held at Lavender Room of BMICH on 11 and 18 August. The winners of the Hacking Challenge was Team Hawk Security (Dhananja Kariyawasam, Samith Madhushanka, Bawantha Chandula). The winners of the Information Security Quiz was Team Synack (Malith Senaweera Dehiwalage, Jude Nilushan Costa, Wickramaranga Abeygunawardhana) from University of Colombo School of Computing.
