Vaas and five others convicted

Former DIG Vaas Gunawardena, son Ravindu and four police officers were sentenced to death by Trial–at–Bar Judges Lalith Jayasuriya, Amendra Senaviratne and Kusala Sarojini Weerawardena at Colombo High Court today.
