Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe commented on a statement made by the Government yesterday which said that Sarath Fonseka needed to personally make an appeal to be granted a pardon by the President. Speaking at a press conference at Sirikotha, Wickramamsinghe said under the law of the country, anyone could make an appeal and that he had done so. Pic by Nisal Baduge
