The cost of road widening

Fifteen houses were removed on the Pamankada road (120 bus route) by the Road Development Authority (RDA) today. The removal was done to facilitate a road widening project by the RDA and the displaced were given compensation worth Rs.500,000. Pix by Pradeep Dilrukshana.
