Sluice gates open

Following heavy rains in the Norton Bridge area, two sluice gates of the Lakshapana reservoir and six gates of the Wimalasurendra reservoir were opened this morning, after the water level had reached spilling level. (Pix by Ranjith Rajapaksa)
