Sangha takes up housemaid's case

The National Sangha Council today handed over a letter to the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Colombo urging the country to review the death sentence by stoning of a Sri Lankan woman in Saudi Arabia. The monks urged the ambassador to soften the capital punishment. Pix by Nisal Baduge
