Returning home

As apart of the resettlement process that is ongoing in Jaffna, villagers from Kankasanthurai  are now allowed to return to their homes after 21 years. Seen here are villagers clearing the over grown forests and rebuilding their homes in a bid to resume lives they left behind during the war. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
