Pinnacle of harmony

The unveiling ceremony of the pinnacle of the newly built Chaittya similar to India’s Sanchi Stupa was held this morning at the Mahabodhi Temple in Maligakanda, to mark the 61st birthday of Ven. Banagala Upatissa Thera. Archbishop Most Rev. Dr Malcolm Ranjith was also felicitated at the event, where Premier D.M.Jayaratne was the chief guest. Pix by Kushan Pathiraja
