Maldives celebrates Independence Day

The 59th Independent Day celebrations of Maldives were held yesterday at the country’s capital Male. Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena graced the celebration as the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed by Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen Abdulla Gayoom. Pix by President’s Media
