Video: Disabled war heroes celebrate New Year

A disabled war hero at the RagamaRanviruSevana taking part in the traditional ‘Kana MuttiyaBindeema’ competition today during the New Year celebrations held at the rehabilitation centre. Several inmates of the RagamaRanaviru Centre took part in the celebrations. Thousands of war heroes were disabled during the three-decade war that ended in 2009. Pix by PradeepPathirana
