Boulder falls onto railway line

A massive boulder that rolled down Magalhanda hill between Beruwala and Maggona obstructed the railway line last morning. The train service on the southern coastal line was delayed for about one hour until the obstruction was cleared. The residents of the area sad the speeding train hit the boulder breaking it into pieces. Residents of the area who rushed to the scene removed the boulder and cleared obstruction.
