Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe declared open 'Mahatma Gandhi Puram' Housing Scheme at Dunsinane Estate Pundaluoya in Nuwara Eliya District today. The housing scheme is funded by the Indian government. An agrement was singned between the Indian Government and the Ministry of Estate Villlages Development to construct further 10,000 houses in the estate sector. Minister of Estate Villages and Infrastructure Development P Digambaram and Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka Taranjit Sing Sandu were presented at the ceremony. Pics by Pradeep Pathirana
