The Bikeathon ‘Out of the Shadows’ bicycle ride organised by the CCC Foundation last month, concluded on Saturday, the World Suicide Prevention Day, at the Independence Square in Colombo.
The ride was organised to create awareness and raise funds for CCC hotline 1333, a toll free telephone counselling service aimed at preventing suicides in Sri Lanka. The Organiser of the Bikeathon, CCC Foundation said Sri Lanka was ranked at the 4th place, when it came to number of suicides in the world. Pix by Damith Wickramasinghe
