A meeting between Transport Minister Gamini Lokuge and the US Embassy's Economic Affairs Head, Susan F. Walke held at the Ministry today. Issues relating to passenger and freight sectors were discussed at this meeting. A lengthy discussion was held on possible assistance to improve the quality of Sri Lanka's railway service with the assistance of the leading companies in the 'Fortune 500' Index, including the leading businesses in the United States.
