A seal which had marooned due to sea currents and washed ashore in Sri Lanka has become a sensation among the citizens. Many people thronged near the coast in Wellawatta today to take a glimpse of the stranded mammal. The seal was seen resting among the boulders along the Wellawatta Beach. Pix by Kushan Pathiraja
