Several religious programmes were organised for American soldiers at a Navy base in Virginia, USA recently with the participation of Ven. Rajakeeya Pandita Hingulwala Piyarathana Thero, consultant and religious section member of the US Department of Veterans' Affairs. At least 800 US soldiers and their families participated in the programmes, including sermons.
