A discussion forum organized by the South-South Research Initiative to mark one year since the start of the Russian-Ukraine War, was held at the Sri Lanka Press Institute Auditorium on Monday.
The forum was organized under the theme of "Challenges affecting South Asia due to the Ukraine War."
Dr. Priyanga Dunusighe from the Department of Economics - University of Colombo and Dr. Pavithra Jayawardena from the Department of International Relations- of the University of Colombo participated in the discussion. Lawyer Nayana Tharanga Gamage was the moderator of the forum.
The geopolitical and economic effects of the Ukraine war on the South Asian region were discussed in the forum.
