The International Military Sport Council (CISM) Day Run was flagged off at the Galle Face Green Colombo today. Defence Secretary, Major General (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne, Acting Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, and a large number of tri-service personnel including a group of wheel-chair ridden war heroes took part in this annual CISM Day Run event organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.(Pix by Navy Media)
