The International Military Sport Council (CISM) Day Run was flagged off at the Rifle Green Grounds, Colombo yesterday. Defence Secretary Karunasena Hettiarachchi attend the event as Chief Guest while Army Commander Lieutenant General Crishantha De Silva, Air Force Commander and present President of the Defence Services Sports Board Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala, took the lead in the run. Over hundred personnel from each service participated in ‘CISM Day Run’ which covered the distance of about 2 km.
