ZPMC Lanka engages in port crane commissioning project in Qatar

ZPMC Lanka Company (Private) Limited; the joint venture between Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited of China and Access Engineering PLC, is engaged in a contract with ZPMC Abu Dhabi for commissioning of 26 Rubber Tired Gantry Cranes (RTG) and 08 Ship-to-Shore cranes (STS) at Doha  port in Mesaieed Doha.  

The scope of the work includes offloading the cranes, commissioning, testing and handing over of cranes under the direct supervision of AECOM; the consulting engineer of this new port project.  

ZPMC Lanka Company (Private) Limited, which was incorporated in 2013 by Access Engineering PLC together with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited of China; world’s largest container handling equipment manufacturer,  provides total maintenance solutions for container handling equipments and facility maintenance services to the port sector in Sri Lanka and the region. 

A qualified and well experienced commissioning team is successfully engaged in the commissioning work at the port since July 2015 for a period of six months.
