Strathspey Estate receives ‘Rainforest Alliance’ certificate

Strathspey Estate situated in Hatton/Upcot area in the Nuwara Eliya district, which is owned by Richard Pieris Group of Companies and managed by Maskeliya Plantations PLC., has been awarded with the Rainforest Alliance certificate recently in order to promote and market its produce amongst the local and international buyers, who are interested and insisting on this certification, which is an environmentally friendly certification.

Further, this estate has already been awarded with certificates such as Fairtrade labeling Organization (FLO), Ethical Tea Partnership(ETP), HACCP, ISO22000, CQC, Cleaner Production, Productivity, Green award, Environmental Authority License, National Safety, 5S etc.
