Sri Lankans vote Anchor their favourite Hot Beverage Brand

Fonterra’s Anchor brand has been voted by Sri Lankans as Hot Beverage Brand of the Year at SLIM Nielsen People’s Awards 2015.

The awards, which are held annually by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and Nielsen Sri Lanka, provide the country’s largest public poll on its favourite brands and personalities.

The nominees and awardees are selected from nationwide face-to-face surveys conducted with people across the country over a five-month period each year by Nielsen Sri Lanka – one of the largest information and research companies in the world.

“Winning this award is an honour for Anchor as it is our consumers who have voted for the brand as their preferred choice,” said Fonterra Brands Sri Lanka Marketing Director Roshan De Silva.     

He continued, “On behalf of the team at Fonterra Brands Sri Lanka and the farmers who supply us, we would like to thank our Sri Lankan consumers who voted for us and who continue to support our products every day.”
