SLASSPA head meets Defence Secretary

Sri Lanka Security Service Providers Association (SLASSPA) President Major Tissa Aluwihare paid a courtesy call on Defence Ministry Secretary Karunasena Hettiarachchi at his office yesterday. Matters pertaining to the commercial security industry were discussed at this meeting.

Among the aspects discussed were the need to uplift the image of the industry, ensuring compliance by security companies on statutory wages and benefits for guarding personnel.
