Short-term T-bill yields edge down

The short-term Treasury bill yields edged down at yesterday’s Treasury bill auction.
The three-month bill yield fell two basis points to 6.08 percent from last auction while six-month bill yields fell three basis points to 6.19 percent. The 12-month yields remained unchanged at 6.31 percent.
The Public Debt Department of the Central Bank said Rs.11.1 billion was sold in three-month bills, Rs.11.1 billion in six-month bills and Rs.6 billion in 12-month bills.
The total bids received stood at Rs.63.9 billion.
