S.D.N. Perera takes reins as NSB GM/CEO

S.D.N. Perera has been appointed the 16th General Manager/CEO of National Savings Bank with effect from March 12, 2015. Perera is scheduled to assume duties today.

Prior to the appointment, he has been serving as the Acting General Manager/CEO and has been serving NSB covering all functional areas in his career spanning nearly three decades. 

Perera is a holder of a B.Com Special Degree and a Diploma in Bank Management.  He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) of USA. 

He was also President of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association of the USA Chapter and was the founder member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of USA-Sri Lanka Chapter. He has been presenting papers at various forums on wide range of disciplines. 

With his wealth of experience, the bank is poised to take new initiatives and march forward while focusing to be more and more customer-friendly bank. 
Perera was also a Director of “Rajarata Sanwardana Bank” and “Regional Development Bank” for over 10 years.
