Peradeniya University to hold MBA Night 2015

MBA Association of University of Peradeniya is planning to host its annual calendar the “MBA Night” in grand style. An event that adds more colours to the MBA programme with the key focus being the reinforcement of the relationship among lecturers, alumnus and students in an entertaining manner. 
It is a night that brings the past memories to present and facilitates an experience sharing and networking among the Alumnus and present students. Though an informal set up, it has been the night that brings new ideas, improvements and new projects for the forthcoming year to make sure we have a continuous improvement. 
The MBA programmewas established in the year 1998 at the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture of University of Peradeniya as per the standards set by the University of Sterling, UK which later on, began with a batch of 20 students. Since then, to date, the program has been recognized as a highly prestigious and reputed professional qualification, exposing students to the corporate business world as well as the government institutes. In fact, more than two hundred of MBA graduates have been produced from diverse fields and regions of the nation. 

The MBA Association is an active body affiliated to the MBA programme of the University of Peradeniya and is led by the students of the programme. The association, which began along with the inception of the MBA programme,is keen on developingskills and providing practical exposure to the students. It also organizes events that bring much needed entertainment to students and staff and has been involved with social service projects as well.

This time, MBA Night is all set to happen on the 5th of December 2015 (Saturday) at the Earl’s Regency Hotel, Kandy, 6.30pm onwards. The launch of the ‘Inspire’ Magazine under the theme ‘Sri Lanka in 2020’, comprising articles of utmost value and substance, will be a notable feature at the function.
