Pathfinder Foundation launches Centre for Indo-Lanka Initiatives with ‘Colombo Dialogue’

The visiting delegation from the Pathfinder Foundation’s Indian Track-2 Partner, Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), participate ‘Colombo Dialogue’ co-chaired by Indian High Commissioner Yash Sinha and PF Founder Milinda Moragoda 

The High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Y. K. Sinha declared open the Pathfinder Foundation’s Centre for Indo-Lanka Initiatives (CILI) recently at the Head Office of the Pathfinder Foundation (PF), located at Colombo 12. Associated with the opening ceremony was Milinda Moragoda, founder of the Pathfinder Foundation. 
The inaugural act of CILI aimed at promoting Indo-Lanka relations was to conduct ‘Colombo Dialogue’ with the prestigious Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) based in New Delhi, focusing on the current dynamics of Indo-Lanka relations. 
On the first day of the ‘Colombo Dialogue’, three broad issues were discussed viz. Economic Issues including Infrastructure Development, Bilateral Political Relations and Strategic and Security Issues. Moragoda initiated the relationship between PF and VIF in March 2014, which led to signing of a Memorandum of Intent with the Chairman of VIF Ajit Kumar Doval, who was later appointed National Security Advisor of India by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
A six-member delegation representing VIF arrived from New Delhi to take part in the ‘Colombo Dialogue’.
