Pan Asia Bank Sports Club powers Marians Unplugged on October 4

Show’s 10th year to see a different style of a musical experience 

The popular band, Marians will take the stage of the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on October 4 at 6:30 p.m. for an evening full of acoustic music and dazzling entertainment.
Marians will unroll its popular show, ‘Marians Unplugged’ on Sunday evening with a renewed look, new music and entertainment segments to give its audience a memorable evening. 
This year, the versatile band marks a significant milestone as the show is performed for the 10th consecutive year in 2015 since it first began in 2006. Hence, this show will be a monumental event for Marians and the group leader Nalin Perera welcomes everyone to witness and feel completely a different musical experience. 
“We have come a long way since we first played ‘Marians Unplugged’ back in 2006. I can say that our music has improved over thousand times since then. The show will be a special performance as the band has mixed some of the world’s best music styles into our music. So, as a versatile band, we make people happy with quality music,” he said speaking on Sunday’s show. 
The mega musical extravaganza is organised by the Sports Club of Pan Asia Bank in order to mark the bank’s 20th anniversary. 
Commenting on the event, Pan Asia Bank Sports Club President Rohitha Amarapala stated that he is proud to be part of the team that is organising such a magnificent event to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the bank, which has revolutionized the banking industry in recent times. He also commented that it is fitting that a top level band such as Marians is performing at this monumental event, which will provide an unforgettable experience to the music loving people in this country.  “In everything we do, Pan Asia Bank tries to offer the best in class to the people in this country, be it in banking business, corporate social responsibility or for that matter in offering entertainment. This is why we chose Nalin Perera led Marians because they were one of the best in class entertainers not just in Sri Lanka but also overseas,” said Amarapala, who is also the Head of Human Resources at the bank. 
Unlike in many other musical shows where the audience stays still and only the band performs, Marians’ shows have the distinctive difference of the audience being actively engaged with the band and its music being played. 
“From the beginning to the end, we encourage the audience to join in our music and that’s the difference we would like to bring in with ‘Marians Unplugged’ next Sunday,” commented Nalin Perera, the leader of Marians. “Our vocalists and the musical instruments will touch every sense of the people with entertainment throughout the show,” he further remarked.
Amarapala informs the public to reserve their tickets without waiting till the last moment as they see a high demand for the show. 
The tickets are available at 31 Pan Asia Bank branches located in and around the Colombo District. 
Depending on the availability, the tickets will also be available at the gate on October 4 from 10:00 a.m., but urged everyone to reserve their tickets well in advance to avoid any disappointment at the last moment. 
Tickets are priced at Rs.2,000, Rs.3,000 and Rs.5,000.
