Pan Asia Bank hosts inter-branch/department quiz followed by Avurudu celebrations

Pan Asia Bank held its inter-branch/department quiz competition recently with an overwhelming participation of more than 93 teams representing various branches and departments at the Golden Rose Hotel Boralesgamuwa. 
Following an intense battle for intellectual supremacy, bank’s Internal Audit Department team emerged as champions while Kalutara Branch, Area Office Colombo South, Treasury and Kekirawa Branch teams claimed second, third, fourth and fifth places respectively.
Subsequent to the quiz competition, Pan Asia Bank also held a special Avurudu celebration organized for the Bank’s staff. This grand event which was held amidst the participation of a large number of enthusiastic participants was a true reflection of the bank’s commitment to sharing the spirit of the Sinhala and Hindu New Year with its valued staff members. This year’s event had many exciting Avurudu games and cultural activities to engage both the young and the old, thus making this year’s Bak Maha Ullela, a truly memorable event.
Both these events were organized by the Human Resources department with the intention of fostering and celebrating unity, mutual understanding and team spirit amongst the team members. 
These events were held under the patronage of Dimantha Senevirathne, CEO of Pan Asia Bank, and included several members of the corporate management and team members from its island wide branch network.
