Pakistani Commerce Minister due here

A business delegation led by Pakistan’s Commerce Minister is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka within next three months to explore investment opportunities in the country, a media communiqué by President Maithripala Sirisena’s office said.
This was communicated to President Sirisena during the bilateral talks he held with Pakistan Premier Nawaz Sharif this Monday.
Premier Sharif expressed Pakistan’s intention to expand trade relations with Sri Lanka. He said measures would be taken to increase Pakistani  exports to Sri Lanka within the next three years.
Special attention was paid on sending more Pakistani tourists to Sri Lanka and increasing the flight frequency between the two countries. 
President Sirisena has had informed Premier Sharif of the investment opportunities in the areas of cement, drugs and, sugar manufacturing in Sri Lanka.
