Oviklo commences Kaduwela warehousing facility construction

In an effort to set the benchmark ever higher for the logistics sector Oviklo, a leading player in the logistic solutions provision sector in Sri Lanka, recently engaged in the construction of a state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Kaduwela – providing easy access from all routes.

The planned unit will have large 50,000 square feet capacity for storage for Oviklo International’s existing, and potential, client base. The project is due for completion in March 2016 and is expected to place Oviklo in a unique position to continue to play a key role in Sri Lanka’s logistics and transport sector. 
Oviklo International Engineering and Infrastructure Development Head Samantha Liyanage, commenting on the recent venture, stated, “The project’s primary objective is to construct and operate a warehouse facility, which is able to provide end-to-end logistics solutions to the company’s customers and maintain its profile as a market leader and innovator in the warehouse industry. 

This new warehouse facility will complement our existing business and enable us to market our services better to our customers. In addition, the warehouse will drive forward our corporate objective of positioning Oviklo as a key provider of end-to-end logistics services.”

Further, the company expects to continue to expand its warehousing facilities in the near future with another 50,000 square feet unit close to the Biyagama Export Processing Zone.
