Lankan energy sector team to study ‘renewable energy’ in Bavaria

A 13-member Sri Lankan energy sector team, which comprises of industry executives and academics, will visit Bavaria, Germany during mid-June in order to take part in a training programme on ‘renewable energy’.

The team would be led by the Sri Lanka – Germany Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, while the programme is backed by the Bavarian Employers’ Association and Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology in Germany. 

Representatives from Carbon Consulting Company, Suntec Engineering, Holcim Lanka Limited, Mackwoods Energy PLC, Vidullanka PLC, Windforce Private Limited, Resource Management Associates Private Limited, Sri Lanka Energy Managers’ Association, Ruhuna University - Faculty of Engineering, Vallibel Power Erantha PLC, University of Moratuwa - Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya - Faculty of Engineering and the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce are taking part in this delegation.
