Drinking tap water – easy & convenient or damaging & unhealthy?

Water, is without doubt the most important substance we need to survive.

Consumed in regular doses, natural minerals found in water such as Calcium, Magnesium and Sodium could make you healthier. But when consumed even a little more than you’re supposed to, the same minerals could be a severe threat to your health.

Average tap water is classified as “hard water” which contains a variety of impurities in unhealthy doses.

Experts recommend an individual must consume at least 2 liters of water per day to maintain an optimum level of health. Being denser in its nature, “hard water” makes the drinker feel that they’ve had enough of it before they get their necessary fill of water for the day. This leaves the consumer with less water in them than they need, and more minerals than a healthy body requires.

Using a water filtering system seems to be the most prominent way to protect your family from harmful water contaminations. But picking the ideal filtering system is a decision you need to take carefully.

Among numerous methods of water filtering, Reverse Osmosis (RO) is certainly the most accepted. It removes the minerals in hard water by sorting the molecules by their size. The method doesn’t apply any chemical treatments & hence is free from any chemical contaminations during the filtering process.
Water treated by RO is pure, clean & healthy. RO treatment system is currently the most effective technology that removes most emerging contaminants such as Arsenic, Cadmium, Mercury & Fluoride that are difficult to remove by other filtering methods.

Being a world renowned name for water filtering systems, Kent has introduced its ultimate filter design to ensure a healthy water consumption. Kent Grand Plus water filtering system is meticulously designed with RO, UF & UV technologies to remove all dissolved impurities & destroy bacteria while the TDS controller retains an essential amount of necessary minerals.

St. Anthony’s Consolidated – the primary distributor of Kent in Sri Lanka, vouches the new Kent Grad Plus system to be the most technologically-advanced water filtering system available today.
