Ceyoka enters agri sector through Nawaloka Agri

eyoka (Pvt) Ltd., a leading private sector conglomerate enters agri sector through manufacturing and distribution of farming / agricultural equipment and implements. 
The company offers two and four wheel tractors, electric and engine driven water pumps, corn threshers, sprayers and many other products that support the approximate 1.8 million families engaged in farming.
“The idea of setting up a dedicated Company to service the farming community has been a key priority for some time,” said Harshith Dharmadasa, Managing Director of Ceyoka. “The equipment and implements business is the stepping stone towards Agri Business and we are continuously looking for Equipment and Technology that can enhance the efficiency of the Sri Lankan farming community.”

The team led by Chinthaka has over 20 years’ experience in the industry which enabled them to swiftly establish a strong network of Dealers island wide and established Nawaloka Agri in the industry.
In addition, the company works closely with the Farm Machinery Research Center (FMRC) to develop products such as corn threshers, brush cutters and water pumps that it manufactures locally.
“Nawaloka Agri in the last 12 months has been successful in securing the agencies for Sonalika Tractors of India, Leo Electric Pumps China and we act as channel partners for Greaves of India, Vikino China/Vietnam, Kipor Engines China,” said Hiranya Mapatuna, Assistant Manager Marketing.
