CA Sri Lanka focuses on liberalization of professional services

Leading professional figures from diverse sectors will come together to share their thoughts at an interactive seminar on the liberalization of professional services, on June 22, 2015.

The seminar titled ‘Liberalization of Professional Services, Challenges & Opportunities, Risks & Safeguards’ will feature a keynote speech by Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka Executive Director Dr. Saman Kelegama, while professionals from the fields of accounting, law and medicine will further complement the interactive seminar by sharing their thoughts on the subject.

The resource panel will comprise of CA Sri Lanka President Arjuna Herath, Bar Association of Sri Lanka Deputy President Saliya Pieris, KPMG Managing Partner Reyaz Mihular, Sri Lanka Medical Association Immediate Past Secretary Dr. Ruvaiz Haniffa, while CA Sri Lanka and Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants Past President Ranel Wijesinha, who is also the Thought Leadership Forum Founder, will be the moderator.

The seminar, which will be held at CA Sri Lanka, Colombo 7, will shed important insight on the progress and the future outlook of the liberalization of professional services in Sri Lanka, along with the prevalent challenges, opportunities, risks and safeguards in the current context.

The interactive seminar is open for representatives of professional and business communities, members of the organisation of professional associations, chambers of commerce and government departments.
