BEPZ Toastmasters holds sixth Installation Ceremony

Biyagama Export Processing Zone (BEPZ) Toastmasters had their sixth Installation Ceremony at the Dutch Burgher Union, Bambalapitiya recently.
MAS Active (Pvt.) Ltd Linea Intimo Director Strategic Planning and Finance Renuka Perera was chief guest for the event.  
Fifteen new members were installed by Division E Director TM Shantha Senerath and the executive committee for 2015/16 was installed by Area E1 Director TM Ananda Gunawardane at this ceremony. 
TM Darshana Gunaratne was installed as the sixth President. TM Demitha Harangala (VP Education), TM Chathura Sudharshan (VP Membership), TM Tharuka Kannangara(VP Public Relation), TM Jude Annesley (Treasurer), TM Nilanthi Chandramali (Secretary) and TM. Sugath Premathilaka (Sergeant at Arms) were the other members of the Executive Committee also installed at this occasion. 
A felicitation award was presented to TM. Lawrance Madapatha, the Charter President and founder of BEPZ Toastmasters, for all the support given. All members who had completed their leadership and communication manuals were also awarded.  
Within the year 2014/15, the club has boosted up and increased the number of members. They have increased their fan base on Facebook and had much educational growth as well. BEPZ toastmasters was a Selected Distinguish club. They also received the Eight 80 Membership Development Award, Smedley Award and Talk-up Toastmasters Award for the year 2014/15.
