Toyota Lanka rewards top performers at National Dealer Convention 2016

Toyota Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd celebrated ‘A Decade of Excellence-United’ at its Annual Spare Parts and After Sales Services Dealer Convention 2016 at Galle Face Hotel in Colombo. The convention was attended by top Toyota dealers islandwide as well as members of Toyota Lanka’s management team. 


The 2016 Dealer Convention is the continuation of an annual Toyota tradition of rewarding strong dealer performance from the preceding financial year and was celebrated for the 10th consecutive year. Fourteen Toyota Genuine Parts (TGP) dealers and top business partners of Toyota Genuine Motor Oil (TGMO), available in over 1000 outlets in Sri Lanka, were present at the event. 


Accolades were presented based on the Business to Business rewards programme, which was conducted for the second consecutive year. This was a special sales campaign effected between July 2015 to March 2016 with rewards allocated based upon a pre-agreed target. Dealers, fleet customers, TGMO and TGP available points participated in the campaign, which was segmented as Toyota Genuine Parts and Toyota Genuine Motor Oil. A total of 106 institutes comprising of 124 people were selected for rewards, with 63 receiving a tour to Japan, 60 a tour to Thailand and 11 receiving LED TVs. A total of Rs.30 million was allocated as rewards for this programme. 
The top performers of the night included Lloyds Auto Mart Badulla (winner-Toyota 1S Dealers), Viskam Motors & Service Centre (Pvt.) Ltd (runner-up-Toyota 1S Dealers), Auto World (Pvt.) Ltd Kurunegala (winner-Toyota 2S Dealers) and Kundasale Auto Service Kandy (runner-up-Toyota 
2S Dealers).


Congratulating the winners, Toyota Managing Director Yoshioka Sen also thanked those in the audience, saying, “Toyota has been growing steadily over the past years and you have all played a critical role in this success story.”


Chief Operating Officer Manohara Athukorala commended the dealer staff for their performance over the past year, noting, “Just like every year and for the past 10 years, the automotive industry is going through turbulence and times of uncertainty with many challenges unfolding. Therefore, your support and contribution as a dealer and as a business partner at this time is greatly valued and appreciated.”  General Manager Spare Parts Sales Priyantha Perera congratulated and thanked all dealer participants for the steady growth shown over the last decade and for being part of Toyota Lanka’s high performance business culture. He introduced the new Business to Business programme for the upcoming year and inspired the dealer staff to move forward together with Toyota Lanka with a promise of a long-lasting business partnership. A special note of gratitude was presented by General Manager Spare Parts and Lubricants Mathisha Samaranayake to all the service dealers for the consistency of quality service provided for Toyota users islandwide.
