Three all-time record prices at tea auction

Kenilworth estate situated in Ginigathhena has achieved an all time record price at the weekly tea auction of 19th October, by securing an attractive price of Rs.890 per kg for a BOP SP  grade in the Western Medium Grown category.
This line was purchased by Heritage Teas (Pvt) Limited and John Keells PLC are the brokers for the produce of 
this estate. 
Kenilworth Estate comes under the purview of Watawala Plantations PLC. The Manager Manoj Ramdas and  his team at Kenilworth estate ,continue to consistently produce high quality teas enabling them to obtain attractive prices at the Colombo tea auctions.
Meanwhile, New Diyagala Tea Factory situated in Deniyaya, achieved an all-time record price by securing an attractive price of Rs.650 for a BP grade. This line of 
tea was purchased by Imperial Teas 
(Pvt) Limited.
Isuru Ishan Dampella is the Managing Director of Diyagala tea factory and John Keells PLC are the tea brokers marketing the produce. 
And also, Hiniduma Small Holders Tea Factory situated in Neluwa–Medagama has achieved an all-time record price by securing an attractive price of Rs.570 for a BM grade.   This line of tea was purchased by M/s  Jafferjee Brothers.
Hiniduma Small Holders tea factory is managed by Tea Small Holders Factories PLC and John Keells PLC are the tea brokers marketing the produce.
