TOYP honours ten individuals of diverse fields

The Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Sri Lanka (TOYP) Awards for 2016 was held recently with the presence of Junior Chamber International President, Paschal Dike from Nigeria as the chief guest. 
The programme was held in partnership with Bharti Airtel Lanka this year, and attempts to highlight and confer national recognition of these achievements and contributions to serve as an example and incentive for youth in Sri Lanka to channel their energies in the right direction and create a positive change in the community. 

TOYP honorees are selected through a long and arduous process, where all the nomination forms received are scrutinized by an illustrious panel of judges.
The event was filled with inspiration from past honorees, eminent judges and many distinguished individuals representing various sectors of the society. Airtel Lanka has partnered with JCI Sri Lanka as the Principal Sponsor for TOYP and other Youth led initiatives by JCI Sri Lanka and its CEO & Managing Director Jinesh Hedge was present as the guest of honor for the evening. 
TOYP was organized for the 36th consecutive year and it invites all Sri Lankan young talent to be nominated and to be recognized at their future events.
