Sony introduces new Android TV range to Sri Lanka

Offering ultimate picture quality, Sony introduced its latest 4K HDR Ultra HD TV range to the Sri Lankan consumers recently.


The products that introduced were; Z9D series, X93D series, 4K HDR Ultra HD TVs, 4K HDR TV range, and other superior Full HD TVs lineup.
One of the main features of the TVs are, its technology which is designed to show rich detail in both dark shadows and bright skies at the same time.


“HDR delivers better contrast and can offer more range of brightness and darkness, which makes every seat the best seat in the house,” Sony Sri Lanka Representative Office Head Alex Yee said.
(HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a burgeoning video standard that greatly expands the range of possible visual expression by reproducing brightness, higher contrast, and more vibrant colours).
It delivers stunning and unmatched picture quality reproducing images that are true to life, offering a remarkable experience in clarity, colour, contrast and much more, compatible with the latest HDR movies and shows, it was noted.


He added that as picture quality is important to Sony, it provides uncompromising beauty in 
image quality.
“4k HDR is a next generation television which takes picture quality to new heights. It provides a great viewing experience with great design quality,” he further said.
He said another area of innovation feature is its enhanced user interface which allows consumer to check their favourite channels, contents quickly and easily. 
It was also noted that the Bravia line up supports the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow software. “With the latest software updates, consumers can enjoy expandable storage using their USB drive to download more TV applications,” they stressed.
