With the belief of ‘music deserves respect’, Sony introduced three additions to its Extra Bass audio lineup, in Colombo recently.
The additions to the existing Extra Bass of speakers and headphones will include MDR-XB80BS, MDR-XB50BS Extra Bass sports wireless in-ear headphones and MDR-XB70BT.
Sony International (Singapore) Ltd Sri Lanka Representative Office Deputy Head Justin Wong said that the new range has exciting features with an attractive design.
They said the latest headphones expect to enhance the experience of electronic dance music (EDM) tracks.
The MDR-XB80BS is designed with a secure ear hook style with cable adjuster, while MDR-XB50BS comes with arc-supporters, both offering stable fit and wireless freedom. Both headphones have a life of seven and 8.5 hours, respectively.
The company says that the new headphones made targeting fitness fanatics and gym junkies. They said that these headphones are tuned for EDM, which has the best matching tempo – 120 to 140 beats per minute. Giving that extra bass, it expects to enhance sports performance.
The other addition, behind the neck style, MDR-XB70BT is made slim, lightweight and delivers deep, punchy and rhythmic sound, while ensuring crystal clear and precise audio, according to the company. It also comes with a built-in microphone and HD voice support to make hands-free calls in a clear voice on the go.
Sony International (Singapore) Ltd Sri Lanka Representative Office Head of Marketing Dilshan Gammampila said that Extra Bass feature is embedded into several of Sony audio products.
“Headphones, HAS Mini (mini speaker), Bluetooth (BT) speakers for the moment. The lineup will be increased on all categories with the extra bass feature in the coming months,” he told Mirror Business.
He said the products can be pre-ordered through their main three distributors – Singer Sri Lanka PLC, Siedles (Pvt.) Ltd and CameraLK (Pvt.) Ltd.
The existing range include, Extra Bass trio of speakers – SRS-XB2, SRS-XB3 and GTK XB7 – and headphones MDR-XB650BT, MDR-XB950BT, MDR-XB450AP and MDR-XB70AP.
